Here is the hell that you've all been waiting for now, it's finally here.... The Fate of AOL's World v4.0 (TFoAW v4). This hell i can probably safely say, is one of the best hells yet... Why? You ask. Well let me give you a list of features included in this neat little hell...
• WAIT! Before you read this... please remember, if you want to make
suggestions, please mail us at PepsiGuy and ESC skinny. And if you have
trouble, dont just dump the hell and tell everyone it sux, ask us for help!
• *NEW* The first AOL 3.0 hell ever! (besides arsenal Online wich only had,
IMs on and off, an enter room feature (not a buster), and a locater)
• Choice of 0 games so far. Genie & Scrambler planned for future.
Only 1 problem, we dont have the chat scan code working perfectly yet, so
that will be released with the updater that will be out in a few weeks.
• A PrivateRoom buster with the option of choosing to announce your
arrival.
• We have added a *NEW* feature that will do the busts to get in private rooms
in the background. It may be hard to do stuff (Type, click, etc...) sorry
d:( This will work in 3.0 ONLY (not 2.7) but only if you have AppleScript.
• Note: On some computers (real fast ones and real slow ones) will do each try
faster if you select "Don't use AppleScript" in the prefs. This is because
OC has to call AppleScript for AppleScript functions. On slow computers,
the delay that occurs when calling AppleScript is what slows it down. On
much faster computers, OC, for some weird reason, is faster when busting
with TFoAW's non-AppleScript buster.
• IM's on/off and IM-room
• Since AOL put that new "log off if idle" into effect, we countered that with
the *NEW* overnight download option, now you can download all night without
getting logged off for being idle. Also we have an AFK chatter,
(if you must)
• MassMailer, List Functions
• All brand *NEW* chat options, like Backwards chat, Scrambled chat, and more!
And also we have a couple of scrollers, for those who must attack IBMers...
(I dont advise it)
• Also *NEW* A download/upload time estimator, with File Transfer Err
percent estimation, so you know how long it will take.
• For those that still wish to use AOL 2.7 we have a BuddyList feature, which
lets you see if your friends are online, like the 3.0 feature.
• We added a iconize box and a anchor box. The iconize box will make the
palette very small and will allow you to move it wherever you want while
TFoAW remembers the placement of the normal sized palette. The anchor box
will put the palette in whatever corner you choose.
I personaly like our Buddy-List better than AOL 3.0's Buddy-List because,
well, just because i like it better.

1.0 - 2.4 We have completely lost every record of existance besides our mind.
2.5 First TFoAW release to public, it was very buggy and was a piece of
crap. It was release uh, sometime in 94 or 95
2.6 - 3.x We have completely lost every record of existance besides our mind.
4.0ß4 Added iconize and placment boxes. Added a cool SoundLevel popupmenu
in the prefs. The sound popup has a save sound-level feature,
which allows you to, for example, save the current sound level, set
it to zero (so you can go on during the night) and then restore the
settings. 2/2/97
4.0ß5 Uh, i really didnt do that much. Uh, I added a menu in the palette
placment box so you can pick what corner you like best (some guy at
school suggested this... Thanx Ricky) Oh, i fixed a MAJOR bug in
the iconize system... If you iconized it closed it, and tried to
open it back up, sometimes, it would be stuck under the menubar.
Fixed MANY bugs in the MMer. Still havent dun Tag Removal or IM
bombs, sorry d:( 2/5/97

4.0ß6 Fixed Readme (couldnt read it on 640*480.. oops). Uh, fixed
overnght download (aol added a second window thing). Uh, fixed bug
bug in MMer. (would get stuck in the finder). More user friendly.
Added a IM-Room feature, casue many peeps wanted it.
PS.
We will NOT skip versions (for example, i've seen some gay people jump from v5 to v69) THAT IS RETARDED! We will stick with Kindergarden counting sceme (1,2,3...) that the rest of America uses.
